My 'X' Hometown

Task
I need to make a travel guide pamphlet and a video of roughly briefing through our final outcome. Before that, I need to choose a town or city and specific place that I wanna welcome my friends. Macro study is done in the selected town or city which is history, landmarks and main accessibility while micro study is done in the selected place which is the tangible and intangible components. Conclusion must be written before completely finishing the pamphlet. The pamphlet must be fully manually done and maximum 12 pages and minimum 8 pages must be done for the whole pamphlet. Infographic manner also is a must too for this assignment.
Progress
Week 1
I asked Ms Renee personally for making sure that town is allowed to use in the macro study because I'm quite confused that city is necessary or not. I lived in Penang and I tried to search about the famous Penang Heritage Areas for my macro study. But, I'm actually born in the mainland and I prefer using the town that I'm familiar with. So, I had finalised the selected town which is Butterworth and the selected place is Taman Sin Tat. The reason of choosing Butterworth and Taman Sin Tat is simple, it is because I lived in Butterworth and my grandma house is located in Taman Sin Tat. I grew up at my grandma house during studying in the kindergarten and primary school. It's easier to me to have further research on the place.
Week 2
I started researching about Butterworth. Luckily, I found a website which consists with a completed history of Butterworth and I read through the website then summarise the information. Then, I also ask my mum about the main accessibility to Butterworth then I double confirmed the points with my research. For the landmarks, I also researched about them. Luckily, it's quite easy and convenience for me because I went these landmarks before.
Week 3
Actually I didn't fully understood about the tangible and intangible components on that time then after listening to Ms Renee's lecture. I used Google Earth to look around Taman Sin Tat. But, some details can't be witnessed so my mum fetched me visiting Taman Sin Tat because Taman Sin Tat is just a stone's thrown away far from my house. After all the researches, I gather and finalise the information in Pages.
Week 4
I started designing the pamphlet and coloured them. I straight coloured after drawing the outlines from page to page. Then, I fully concentrated on doing designing and colouring parts because I expected to finish them in this week. I did it!!!
Week 5
I paste them together on black manila cards and compiled them into a pamphlet. After that, I did some final touch up and checked whether is there any correction needed to be done. The pamphlet is completely done and I started shooting the briefing video. I shot many times because I wanna a perfect video without doing any edit. So, I need to speak without any mistakes in one minutes. I submitted this assignment on time!
Reflection
In this assignment, I learnt to look details the sites by using Google Earth. But, certain images can't be seen in the Google Earth. Luckily, the sites are close to my house and I had an idea which was called my mum to fetch me to the site to look around. After that, all information was accurate already. I also learnt to draw Chinese Architecture and it was very hard and I did it! I also learnt the tangible and intangible components and now was crystal clear with them after listening to the lecture. This assignment was more challenging because many things needed to be drawn manually so I scheduled quite well for this time and many things were done on time!
