1. Emphasize the importance of plants to our environment

72% of lands in Bhutan is green. The government of Bhutan emphasize the growth of plants and any trees in Bhutan not be chopped down. The forest in Bhutan only get destroyed by fire occasionally. But, the government in Bhutan must replant to make Bhutan green after the fire.

2. Respect mountains and animals that we have

Citizens in Bhutan believe that mountains have their own protectors. For examples, Tshokam, which is one of the dry lake in Bhutan, is used to be a lake. They believe that the protector of the lake decided to move from there. Besides, they always have a mind set that human has a strong connection with animals. The only difference is that animals cannot talk well as human can. Citizens in Bhutan strongly believe that animals can be the reincarnation of their families. Hence, no killings is happened in Bhutan. Meat that Bhutan get is all imported from India, from the border at South.

3. Bhutan focus on the concept of high value, low impact tourism

In Bhutan, there is around 250$ daily fee in high season. 35% of the money goes to fund free healthcare, free education, poverty relief and infrastructure. Hence, the government in Bhutan has more money to use in planting and taking well care of the environment in Bhutan.

4. Advanced infrastructures are not built in Bhutan

The four days journey from Paro to Thimphu is not providing the cable car services or trains services. Tourists are only allowed to complete their journey by hiking. Along the journey, tourists' camping gears will be carried by horses and mules. There are no buildings in their every checkpoints and only tents and kitchen tents are provided for overnight. No traffic lights are available in Bhutan and the buildings in Bhutan are preserved well such as Dzong, monastery, temples and so forth. Thus, rebuilding progress is a no need in Bhutan.

Strong believe in culture that carried from generation to generation

The main religion in Bhutan is Buddhism. Their practice is known as Mahayana. Citizens in Bhutan believe that whatever we do in present life will be the rhythm of the next life. So, not just thinking oneself, it's all about thinking as a general including human and animals. Hence, pollutions are strongly avoided in Bhutan.
