Assignment 1B - Nature Dialogue

Task
I need to form a group which five person including me before starting the assignment. Then, we need to choose one of the episode from the video documentary "One Planet" by Netflix on Youtube and watch it. A video which has 6 till 8 minutes must be shot for the submission. My teammates and I also need to research more details about the nature setting that we choose before shooting the video such as types, function, characteristics, positive and negative aspect and so forth. Before submission, editing must be done for the video so that the flow and transitions of the video look smoother and better.
Progress
Week 1
We quickly form into a group and originally it's just me, Rumi, William and Nikhil in the group. We are the Group 1! We created WhatsApp and Discord group for communication and discussion. During the first discussion, we finalised the nature setting that we gonna choose which is High Seas and watched the video together so that we can make sure that every teammates are involved. After watching, we do our research about the high seas then place them in Google Docs.
Week 2
I was infected Covid-19 and the whole progress is stopped after informing my teammates. My teammates hope that I won't missed up any meeting so we extended the duration for research. Although I got Covid-19, but I still did research because I just needed to swipe my phone while laying on the bed for resting.
Week 3
Kevin just joined our group in this week and we told our whole plan to him so that he won't be left behind. We had meetings again then finalised the information that we researched in the previous weeks. Then, we made our script together and had some test run with the script. We figured out that our script is too long then we deducted until the duration of our video is matched with the requirement. Rumi also had an amazing idea which is wearing National Geography Tee and he brought each of us the shirts. Luckily, the shirts were arrived on the upcoming week.
Week 4
We practised many times so that we can had better performances and spoke fluently in the final shooting. We had recorded once in the Zoom Meeting but its still not the best then we recorded again and again till its totally well. After that, we realised that video is hard to edit if we recorded the video in group. Hence, we changed our plan and shot the video individually.
Week 5
We sent our own parts to Nikhil and Nikhil do the editing part. I also searched for some video clips which are suitable for the video such the intro of the National Geography and the drone of the Super Typhoon Mangkhut.
Week 6
This week is the submission week and Nikhil edited the whole video then we had our final checking before submitting it.
Reflection
I learnt much from this assignment too. I learnt to understand deeply into something such as I watched the movie documentary around three times for making sure that I totally understood every single contents. I learnt to do more researches on my task and followed the requirements of the assignment such as the duration of the video. My teammates and I deducted the script and tried reading the script many times till it matched to the requirements. I learnt to listen to other teammates' opinions and discussed and combined all together. We also tried individual recording after facing editing problems when using group recording. Moreover, I learnt to download and screenrecord the video clips that we want to use the presentation.
