Assignment 1A - The Nature Journal ( Individual )​
Task
I was given a movie documentary which is named as ' Earth ' 2007 and watch it all before starting to do the nature journal. The nature journal must be completed manually and in infographic manners. The content of the nature journal must be done based on my own observation, further research and reflection after watching the movie documentary. A maximum 25 pages and minimum 17 pages must be done for the nature journal and I had completed it with 20 pages. The nature journal has distinguished into three parts which are introduction, understanding nature and appreciating nature. All the choices of elements must be selected from the movie documentary and further research and illustration must be added too. Progress
First Week
Before choosing the flora, fauna, nature setting and nature phenomena, I had watched the movie documentary around three times and some elements didn't stated in the movie. But, after having advices from Ms Renee, I had screenshot the pictures then used Google Photos to scan them. So, originally I chose Polar bear, African Lion, Dust Storm and Tropical Cyclone for the Fauna and Nature Phenomena, but its hard to be drawn for me then I changed them into Lophorina Superba, Gemsbok, Rainbow and Aurora. After finalising all my choices, I did further research on them!
Second Week
I had drafted out all the information and research in my own notebook. Then, I gathered them together and finalised the points that I want to use. Although it's looked messy for others, but at least it is readable for me personally.
Third Week
The progress was doing great according to my actual schedule but there is a disappointed and scary situation happened on me which is the Covid-19. I was infected Covid-19 and had self-quarantine in my room for 14 days as well. I was quite nervous that time and worried about my assignments. Luckily, the symptoms are just going through my body for a week and that week is wasted because I can't even move like a normal person and just can lay on bed for long duration (almost the whole day) due to the high fever. I got way better day by day and continued my assignment in the next week.
Forth Week
Although I had wasted entire week due to Covid-19, but I had scheduled my timetable more pack compared to the previous one. I had started to design all the pages and draw the outline of each images. Then, I continued with the colour parts.
Fifth Week
Luckily, I had finished in the forth week then did some final touch up in the last week before the submission. I checked all the grammatical errors and vocabulary as well. Although I checked before, but still worried that there's still some of them that I had missed up. After checking all the pages, I submitted my work on time!

Reflection
Actually I love animals, but I don't like to be close to them. It is because I don't like the feeling of animals licking on my skin. Luckily, I don't need to expose to animals while doing this assignment due to it's fully virtual. This is the first time that I need to do some much researches before doing the assignment and it is really a fun experience. I searched lots of websites and I finalised all of them by myself. It is also the first time that I draw so much in a week and I really learn so much things while doing it. I don't like to copy from other people's design so I tried to think out of the box and luckily the product was done. Although I faced a serious issue while doing it such as infection of Covid-19, but I made it !!!
